How long is a Ghost Expedition?
Ghost Expeditions are about 3 hours in length.
How much is the Ghost Expedition Fee?
Participation fees may vary on the type of Ghost Expedition,
number of properties and length of time. For VIP Ghost Expeditions
( 2 - 8 participants / 3 hours) the fee is $75 per participant.
Are there special rates for children?
No. In fact, you must be 18 years or older to participate
in a Ghost Expedition, unless you are 14-17 years old and
accompanied by a legal guardian, and both parties still need
to sign the Ghost Expedition Participation Waiver form.
Will I see a Ghost?
Any and all sites utilized for Ghost Expeditions have been
validated as haunted by the ISPR. However, There is no guarantee
that someone will 'see' a ghost with the naked eye.
Is this a real event or is it fabricated?
Ghost Expeditions are real for the participants and for the
research conducted by the ISPR. There is nothing fabricated
or contrived about the Ghost Expedition site or methods of
participation.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Some hand-held equipment is provided is provided for Original
Ghost Expeditions. However, you are welcome to bring your
own hand-held instrumentation.
Should I consume alcohol prior to the Ghost Expedition?
It is highly recommended that participants do not drink alcohol
prior to Ghost Expeditions as alcohol inhibits the chances
of experiencing the paranormal and reduces the validity of
any experiences. Unlike other events, Ghost Expeditions in
any form is not an activity that gets better with alcohol.
If I don't see a Ghost or become too afraid, can I get
my money back?
There are no refunds for Ghost Expeditions.
Do Ghost Expeditions still take place when it's raining?
Yes. You are inside a haunted property during the actual Ghost
Expedition.
Are there any other times available for Ghost Expeditions?
Yes. GEs can be scheduled for various times; day or night..
Where are Ghost Expeditions in New Orleans?
Ghost Expeditions sites vary but are conducted only inside
actively haunted properties and not inside properties with
light and sound systems that fabricate paranormal activity.
How many participants are in a Ghost Expedition?
VIP Ghost Expeditions are limited; 2 - 8 participants. Original
Ghost Expeditions are usually limited to 24 participants.
Special sized groups can be arranged.
Is the Ghost Expedition site safe?
All GE participants are expected to adhere to any rules and
regulations provided to them by the Ghost Expedition Researcher
or GE VIP. The sites have been verified as safe for GE participants.
How long have Ghost Expeditions be in operation?
Ghost Expeditions were conceived in 1993 by 1972 ISPR founding
Parapsychologist, Dr. Larry Montz and implemented in New Orleans
in 1994 and continued in the city until November 1, 1997.
After several years and much improvement in Los Angeles, Ghost
Expeditions returned to New Orleans on October 1, 2004 but
ceased operations following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.
Ghost Expeditions resumed operations in L.A in 2006 and returned
home to the Big Easy in 2007 and were conducted at the Haunted
Mortuary / PARAPLEX from September 2007 through March 2008.
Both Original and Free Style Ghost Expeditions will resume
daily operations on a regularly scheduled basis when the PARAPLEX
re-opens.
Are Ghost Expeditions the same as tours?
No. Original Ghost Expeditions allow you the opportunity to
participate first-hand, in a paranormal field investigation,
combining both hand-held instrumentation (technology) and
psychic exercises, under the direction of a trained Ghost
Expedition Researcher or GE VIP.

Can I bring a video recorder
or camera on the Ghost Expedition?
Still cameras are allowed for use by GE participants during
Ghost Expeditions. Recording devices are allowed during Ghost
Expeditions however, commercial photography, audio recording
or videotaping is not permitted without expressed written
permission from designated Ghost Expedition management. Any
form of recording of GE Researchers or GE VIPs is not permitted.
Will the Ghosts follow me home?
Not likely. Your chances of an Entity following you from a
Ghost Expedition site is exactly the same as your chances
when entering any building with paranormal activity, whether
you are aware of the activity or not.
Do I have to be psychic to participate in a Ghost Expedition?
No. You do not have to be 'psychic' to participate in an Ghost
Expedition.
What kinds of paranormal phenomena could I experience?
Although there is no guarantee of experiencing paranormal
phenomena, the many different kinds of paranormal phenomena
that one can experience, will be explained by your Ghost Expedition
Researcher once you begin your Ghost Expedition. Many people
claim that their paranormal experiences can be mental and/or
emotional in nature, or physical from taps on the walls to
taps on your shoulders, and much more.
Are you recording the Ghost Expeditions for television?
Possibly. Ghost Expeditions participants agree to be filmed
for any and all media purposes known now or to be developed,
into perpetuity, without compensation or acknowledgement.
Data collected during Original Ghost Expeditions may be published
or exhibited at a later date without compensation or acknowledgement
for participants.
Are there hiden cameras taping us during Ghost Expeditions?
No. You could be recorded for research purposes and that data
may be released at a future date in any form with no compensation
to participants.

Ghost Expedition Tour participants at the Haunted Mortuary
/ Haunted House / PARAPLEX / Mystere Mansion, were filmed
by hidden cameras and audio recorded via hidden recording
systems by Eerie Ventures / PSX - Inc.
What if I'm too afraid to participate
in an Original Ghost Expedition?
Then don't participate.
Can I bring food and beverage on the Ghost Expedition?
No food or beverage is allowed inside the Ghost Expeditions
site with the exception of bottled water.
What qualifications do the GE Researchers have?
Ghost Expedition Researchers are trained to conduct Ghost
Expeditions by an ISPR authorized GE Trainer and/or by a GE
VIP.
What should I wear during a Ghost Expedition?
It is suggested that all participants wear comfortable clothing
and comfortable shoes, most preferably flat shoes - no heels.
Tennis shoes / athletic shoes are highly recommended.
Can I tip the GE Researcher?
The GE Researcher can accept tips.
Will we meet ISPR Parapsychologist Dr. Larry Montz at
the Ghost Expedition?
Most likely, no.
Will the Ghost Expedition Researcher answer all my questions?
If you are participating in an Original Ghost Expedition,
the GE Researcher will answer as many questions as time allows,
and to the best of their ability. Private VIP Ghost Expeditions
with Daena Smoller will be more indepth.
What if I have paranormal questions after the Ghost
Expedition?

Do Ghost Expeditions take place inside commercial properties?
Yes, Original Ghost Expeditions are conducted in New Orleans
inside commercial and/or non-commercial properties.
Are the Ghost Expedition Researchers psychic?
Possessing enhanced psychic abilities is not a prerequisite
for a Ghost Expedition Researcher; some GE Researchers may
be psychic and others may not. GE VIPs are psychic.
Can I get a psychic reading during a Ghost Expedition?
No. However, you can arrange a private Psychic Reading with
one of ISPR's authorized professional clairvoyants by emailing
the ISPR at investigationrequests@ispr.net.
