KEN BRADEN
Ghost Expedition Trainer & Researcher

Braden is a former Combat Communications Specialist. His eight-year service to the United States began in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Berlin, Germany, focusing on both wire and radio communications for combat support. Returning to California, he joined the California Army National Guard in Communications as a Retrans Operator (point to point communications). Braden received an Army Accommodation Medal, Medal of Occupation and the German Weapons Qualification Medal for his work.

Back in the private sector, Braden spent four years putting his training and expertise to work as a Site Supervisor in the security industry for CNN. Working closely with the U.S. Secret Service, Braden was responsible for organizing the ultimate safety of political notables like Ross Perot and former First Ladies, as well as Hollywood celebrities like Robin Williams, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Charlton Heston.

As a young child, Braden's fascination with the Civil War Period, paved the road for his adult hobby and participation as a Civil War Reenactor. He has participated in numerous reenactments; events as far away from Hollywood including the Battle of Mobile reenactment, in Mobile, Alabama, to celebrate the city's Tricentennial and the largest civil war reenactment of the decade, the 140th Anniversary Gettysburg Reenactment which will take place on the actual Gettysburg battlefields. During these reenactments, he has portrayed Irish Immigrant soldiers, from both the North and the South, in an effort to help honor the contributions and sacrifices that the Irish made during early American history. Braden's participation as a Civil War Reenactor has provided him with additional exciting opportunities such as helping to create the sounds and voices for the famous Lincoln Exhibit at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and perform as a Civil War soldier in an episode of the ABC TV primetime series, Miracles.

Braden's military service in Germany and his involvement in Civil War reenactments have been dotted with various paranormal experiences propelling him to seek education with respect to paranormal matters from the ISPR during the Summer of 1997. He began as a Ghost Expedition research trainee. In the years that followed, Braden's experience in Ghost Expedition research has earned him the unique position of GE Trainer; responsible for the hands-on instruction and safety of GE participants and the training of GE Researchers. His Ghost Expedition experience has spanned the spectrum from utilization of hardware to the study of clairvoyance with the traditional GE benefit of supervising celebrity Ghost Expedition participants like Scott Baio, Brandon Brooks, Sara Downing, and Aaron Van Wagner and representing ISPR's Ghost Expeditions on various television programs like Blind Date and the Today Show on NBC. Braden participated with Dr. Montz in the clearing or 'crossing over' of the seven resident Vogue Theatre entities on December 23, 2001.

Braden continued to work on expanding his own clairvoyant abilities in addition to his technical duties, under the direction of Dr. Larry Montz. In his free time, he pursued his other interests of photography, studying history, writing, and used to enjoy swing dancing at the Derby in Hollywood.

Braden worked for Ghost Expeditions until Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005.
